Perfect for all abilities, chair yoga is a great way to relax from head to toe without the stress or worry of getting up and down from the mat. Seated Yoga can be adapted to suit anyone’s needs with the aim being to work with your body rather than against it. It’s an effective and gentle way to improve your strength and flexibility in a way that can complement your current medical interventions, therapies and exercises.
What are the benefits of this class? The class will help to improve strength & flexibility. This means that older adults will be better able to continue with hobbies and daily activities independently. It can also help with mobility issues to undertake activities that have perhaps people have been unable to do.
How do I get started? Come along, complete a health & well being questionnaire and get started. All equipment will be provided
Will it be too strenuous for me then? No. This class will be targeted at beginners, and our instructor will offer an alternative to all moves, if you find something too challenging or you are not able too.
What should I bring? Whenever you are exercising, it is advisable to bring a drink.
What clothing is required? Clothes that are comfortable and that allow you to stretch and move freely, also training shoes or comfortable flat footwear

Tuesday class is £4 a week or £14 for 4 classes
