This class will introduce you to exercises and sequences of movements, and reflects movements within self-defence. Suitable for all ages and abilities it will improve balance, strength, flexibility, stamina & mindfulness.
Is it a martial arts class? No the classes are for health and well being with explanations for the movements.
Do I need previous knowledge or experience? Absolutely not, classes are for all complete beginners and those who have practised before.
Will I be able to do all the activities? the instruction to everyone is always to use the exercises and sequences for your own well being and health and to be done within your own capability and comfort zone.
Do I need special clothing and footwear? You need comfortable clothes, possibly layers in case you feel warm or cool and flat comfortable shoes.
Does the class work all together? Yes for 80% of the time, then those that know the forms can go off and practise whilst we get on with learning wonderful exercises from China.
